Connecting through creativity
Book
Book Releasing in April
The Truth We Seek gently unfolds a deeply personal creative journey, one that began in childhood as an escape and gradually blossomed into a powerful form of self-expression.

Creativity is a powerful tool for healing. The Truth We Seek is a journey through the transformative power of art and poetry, where pain and loss are not only explored but understood.

Through every brushstroke and verse, Danielle Bancroft uncovers how creativity can be a lifeline in times of emotional upheaval, a way to reconnect with beauty, and a path toward deeper self-understanding.
This collection invites you to embrace your own creative potential, to find peace within the chaos, and to discover the quiet strength that arises when we make space for art in our lives. Whether through words, paint, or any creative outlet, healing begins when we give ourselves the permission to create.

Bio

I grew up in a small town in Kansas, but my journey took me far beyond my roots. After college, I moved to Colorado with my husband, where we lived for five years before he joined the Air Force. Frequent moves sparked my creative curiosity and led me to think outside of the box. For eighteen years, I have lived across the US and in Europe, gaining experiences that have deeply shaped my creative path. I began exploring my artistic talents in my thirties, and for the past fifteen years have painted with acrylics on canvas. At age forty, I started writing poetry as a form of self-therapy -a practice I have nurtured for the last seven years. Beyond my art, I am passionate about community service, volunteering at an art foundation in my local area in northern Virginia, near Washington DC. I believe in the power of shared stories, nature, and creativity to bring people together.
